ALegacy of Service
The William Brian Moody Foundation was started in 2017 in honor of Brian Moody of Charleston, SC – a loving son and brother, wonderful husband, devout father, and community leader who passed away of glioblastoma brain cancer on March 27, 2016. We would like to take this time to thank you for your extraordinary support of our 7th Annual William Brian Moody Foundation Fundraiser! We are so grateful to all of the family and friends that honored Brian by generously donating to the foundation.
The Night Before at the Riverdogs and The Summer Soiree were a huge success thanks to your amazing participation!
Because of your incredible generosity this year, we are able to donate $60,000 to our outstanding beneficiaries, Roper St. Francis Foundation Cancer Care Fund and Emerging Capital Initiatives Fund and the scholarships and endowment in Brian’s name at Clemson University.
Over the past 7 years, the foundation has been able to donate $344,000 to our beneficiaries and that is all thanks to our extraordinary supporters!
The 2023-24 Roper Donor Impact Report is available for your review. It highlights some of the impactful ways your generous donations are making a difference in the lives of many cancer patients.
We are also pleased to share that since 2018, we have awarded 27 scholarships to Clemson University students and that the William Brian Moody Clemson University Scholarship Endowment has now passed the $150,000 milestone. We are thrilled that this endowment will forever honor Brian and his commitment to leadership and service to others.
