2022 WBM Foundation Charity Golf Tournament

LOCATION:  The Golf Club at Wescott Plantation in Charleston, SC 

OVERVIEW:  Join us for our in-person golf tournament and event to raise funds for the Roper St. Francis Foundation Cancer Care Patient Assistance Fund and our Scholarship Awards/Endowment at Clemson University


  • After two years of virtual golf tournaments, the William Brian Moody Memorial Golf Tournament is back in Charleston on the first weekend in May
  • We are at a new location, Wescott Plantation, but expect the same fun, laughs and fellowship from prior years
  • All spouses, families, significant others, guests, non-golfers are asked to come join us after the golf at our 19th Hole Kentucky Derby Watch Party and Raffle.  See details below and follow our social media for updates

Golf Format

  • 18 holes in Captain’s Choice Format with 4 team members
  • You can purchase tickets on the site for entire teams, or purchase in 1 -person increments and we will pair you with a team
  • Seniors and Ladies may play from respective tees
  • Shotgun start at 12:00 noon. Registration starts at 11:00am
  • Free alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, lunch and dinner are all provided with registration fee
  • Mulligans and throws are available to purchase extra at $15 a piece.  Limit of 1 throw and 1 mulligan max, per player

Grand Prize

Round of golf for 4 at various Kiawah Island Golf Resort Courses in Charleston! ~$1,500-$2,250 value

Courses available include: The Ocean Course, Osprey Point, Turtle Point, Cougar Point or Oak Point

Kiawah is a two-time host of the PGA Championship with courses designed by Tom Fazio, Pete Dye and Tom Watson

19th Hole – Kentucky Derby Viewing, Raffle Drawing and After-Tournament Party

  • The after-party will start at around 5:00pm at Westcott under their tented event space
  • We will be announcing our tournament winners and handing out prizes and awards
  • There will also be a separate raffle with tons of amazing prizes – for tickets to the raffle, check out the link HERE.  You do not have to be present to win a raffle prize!
  • All are welcome – tickets for the event for non-golfers are $50 (kids are free)! Tickets include dinner and drinks. The event will have many more attendees than just the golfers so please bring friends, guests and family!
